Cristian Dogaru

Associate Professor, University of Suffolk

Dr Dogaru is an Associate Professor at the University of Suffolk with over 20 years of interdisciplinary professional and academic experience spanning medicine, epidemiology, and social sciences. A paediatrician-turned-social scientist, he holds a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania and a PhD in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University, USA.

Laura Polley

Lecturer, University of Suffolk

Laura joined the School of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2019 as a Criminology Lecturer. In 2017, Laura graduated from the University of Suffolk with a BSc (Hons) in Criminology. In 2019, she received her MSc in Leadership and Custodial Environments. Laura previously worked as a Prison Officer for HMPPS, gaining frontline experience before joining the University as a lecturer.
